CSH and ISN Partnership to Promote Environmentally Sustainable Kidney Care

KitNewCare is excited to announce a new partnership to promote sustainable practices in kidney care. This collaboration aims to inspire engagement, share insights from KitNewCare, and expand the impact of Kidney Care Sustainability Champions. Stay tuned for updates on this groundbreaking initiative.

KitNewCare is pleased to announce a new partnership between the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare (CSH), one of our partners, and the International Society of Nephrology (ISN). This collaboration aims to promote sustainable practices in kidney care through the Global Environmental Evolution in Nephrology and Kidney Care (GREEN-K) Initiative.

This partnership is a significant step towards integrating sustainability into kidney care worldwide. The ISN, a global professional society dedicated to advancing kidney health through education, research, and advocacy, has joined forces with CSH, an independent non-profit organisation leading efforts to reduce the carbon footprint of healthcare services.

The partnership focuses on encouraging healthcare professionals and the public to join the CSH Kidney Care Sustainability Network, distributing findings and resources from the KitNewCare project, and expanding the influence of the Kidney Care Sustainability Champions. Additionally, it aims to motivate various medical specialties to participate in sustainability efforts and establish an international fellowship program through the combined efforts of CSH and ISN.

By combining their expertise, CSH and ISN aim to compile and share educational materials and case studies, promoting best practices in sustainable kidney care. This collaboration will help ensure that kidney care services globally can adopt and maintain environmentally sustainable practices.

Learn more about the ISN GREEN-K Initiative and how this partnership will shape the future of sustainable kidney care.
