KitNewCare General Assembly to take place in Madrid, 11-12 March 2025
The next General Assembly of the KitNewCare project will be held in Madrid on 11 and 12 March 2025. This two-day meeting will provide partners with the opportunity to assess the project’s progress and collaboratively plan the next steps.
The first day, 11 March, will focus on updates and presentations from several work packages, including discussions on Clearflux technology, the environmental impact of kidney replacement therapies (KRT), and the development of the project’s benchmarking tool. Sessions will also cover new pathways for peritoneal and haemodialysis, a comparative LCA of peritoneal dialysis, and updates from the Capacity Building team. The day will also feature a panel event to explore the vision, barriers, and facilitators in sustainable kidney care.
The second day, 12 March, will shift the focus to engagement and exploitation. The agenda includes a Public and Patient Involvement (PPI) session, a workshop on the exploitation of Key Exploitable Results (KERs), and shared learning opportunities with all pilot sites. Importantly, a dedicated webinar with sister projects will also take place, fostering collaboration across related EU-funded projects.
With a packed agenda addressing both technical innovations and strategic planning, the General Assembly will play a crucial role in strengthening collaboration between partners and ensuring that the project’s outputs are impactful and widely adopted.
