KitNewCare Featured in WHO’s COP29 Report on Climate Change and Health

KitNewCare has been featured in the World Health Organization’s COP29 Special Report on Climate Change and Health.

The KitNewCare project is highlighted in the World Health Organization’s COP29 Special Report on Climate Change and Health, which was prepared for this year’s climate summit. The report underscores the pressing need for sustainable healthcare solutions to combat climate impacts, spotlighting global initiatives that make meaningful strides in reducing environmental burdens within health systems.

In Chapter 3, titled Build Future-Proofed Health Systems, KitNewCare is featured in the “Further Reading” section, along with sister projects CARING NATURE and NetZeroAICT, as a pioneering EU co-funded project dedicated to making kidney healthcare more environmentally sustainable. This recognition underscores KitNewCare’s efforts toward integrating sustainable practices within kidney care, contributing to the global movement for greener healthcare.
