The KitNewCare consortium has achieved a significant milestone by reaching consensus with clinical sites and benchmarking group stakeholders on essential indicators and metrics, paving the way for monitoring and improving sustainability in kidney care across Europe.

As World Kidney Day highlights the global need for better kidney care, the KitNewCare General Assembly, held in Madrid on 11-12 March 2025, reinforced the project’s commitment to reducing the environmental footprint of renal treatments. Bringing together experts and researchers from across Europe, the meeting focused on advancing sustainable innovations in kidney care, aligning with the broader goal of improving both patient health and environmental impact.

KitNewCare partners will gather in Madrid on 11-12 March 2025 for the project’s General Assembly, a key moment to assess progress, share insights, and plan the next steps towards more sustainable kidney care. The two-day meeting will bring together experts, researchers, and clinical partners to discuss advancements, challenges, and upcoming activities within the project.
